Shawn initially joined an international brokerage after earning his real estate license, but quickly realized it offered very little in the way of training and support. He noted, “My dad was a general contractor in south Florida for 30 years, and I used to love helping him build homes- learning all about materials and construction methods, layouts and design, values, etc.  We worked on projects like Turnberry Isle Country Club, SouthEast Financial Center, and luxury homes on Star Island and Bal Harbor.  But I found Florida too humid, so I went into hospitality and social work, keeping me indoors.  After losing my dad last year to cancer, I relocated back to sunny California with its perfect weather.  I knew I needed to combine the things I love- being hospitable, helping people, and helping people find their dream homes. I love being a Realtor!”

Tarbell’s Rising Stars Forum Earns Accolades

Tarbell’s Rising Stars are a group of agents who come together to exchange ideas, network, and share methods for achieving their goals of earning membership in the broker’s Circle of Excellence sales club. Tina Jimov-Red, President of Tarbell, Realtors hosted the program.  A panel of successful agents spoke to the group,  including Jennifer Wentz from Tarbell’s Menifee office, Jody Mathews from the Temecula office, Myra Mitchell from the Ontario/Eastvale office, Coleen Wessell from the Redlands office, Bernardine Leutz from the Riverside office, and Loren Avellaneda and Ray Richardson, from the Corona office.

“I want to thank everyone who help to make this event such a success. Great achievements and success are often the result of collaboration and education,” said Jimov-Red. “Rising Stars provides agents with an exceptional opportunity to increase their success by learning from one another as well as other successful agents, and the Tarbell Management team.
